About Michael Derscha

Michael brings a unique blend of 25 years experience from fashion show productions Weddings and ballroom dance events to ensure your event runs smoothly and professionally and at a reasonable rate.   He will make all general announcements with out any lengthy talking on the microphone.  Michael is a military veteran having spent 5 years in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He started in the DJ business in 1986 with fashion shows for local modeling schools, churches and DJ’ing weddings which expanded into performing in shows, print advertisements, local commercials, a billboard for a vehicle in Europe and some industrial films. He was also an extra in the film “Prayers for Bobbie” with Sigourney Weaver partly filmed in West Bloomfield. He regularly attends Toastmasters, has an associate’s degree with Henry Ford Community and Bachelor of Sciences degree with Central Michigan University. Michael has had a passion for music since he had a crystal radio set at age 8.
